November 9^th

Time again for the weekly Sko report about various things... this last week was pretty uneventful yet at the same time pretty interesting... Let me start off with the fact that Monday was the first day after the party that I completely felt restored... I didnt really have a hangover still on Sun but something wasnt quite there. Anyway this week I had 2 midterms a week after midterms week. I also got my other 2 midterms back meaning that stress levels were at the Max the past week. Nothing really pissed me off other then a couple infomercials but I will get to that later. Monday was a day of rest... The reason it was a day of rest was not preparation as much as it was gross procrastination to hold off on the work I would have to do later in the week.... Band practice was moved to Mon this week so that we could sort out some things with the cheerleaders. The student club of the 6^th man showed up also so that we could coordinate with them. The only thing is they didnt really want to coordinate. They basically just said they didnt want the band playing at times when the team was in the lead b/c they wanted to cheer the whole time. So we agreed saying allright but when we do certain cheers we would like it if you backed us up well this was apparently unacceptable for them. This was about the time where they started getting all pissy basically saying we sucked... yadda yadda yadda... I think that a student fan club is a great idea but when it is run by assholes who dont understand the fact that as band members we are paid 10 dollars to go to the game to play our instruments meanwhile they pay 10 dollars to cheer on the team that they don't run the show... fuck we don't either... we are told what to do when and then we do it...anyway I will get back to the 6^th man on Fri... Tues was a day where I dont remember what I did to tell the truth so it must have been nothing... Wed was great b/c I did not have to get up for my friggin 8:30 calc class although we had an exam in 2 days in there. Wed night was the start of the work load for me. Rocco and I played Racquetball over at the whateverthefuckitiscallednow gym at like 5:30, this was just a further attempt to procrastinate. At 7:00 I had to type into the website for the observatory that we werent opening due to rain then I had to book it over to the Library to study with Casey and Mo. It is hard to procrastinate when others are expecting you there that is why I like group studying. I think this is also the day that Heather and I started on the computer science midterm... computer science is the C++ class which I sort of understand. Basically I understand why the program does certain things when I see it written... but I dont really know why other then the fact that I have seen those lines of text in other examples. This means that when ever we have a grade on something I dont understand I have to figure it out with some help. All of my programs I work on with Heather who is in a similar predicament. Together we can figure almost all of it out. But anyway for the midterm it took an extra little boost but that is a different story for a different day. Anyway the funny thing is people in the class keep asking me for help with their programs although I dont really know a fucking thing. Thurs was the day that I realized I had a paper in history class due the next day in addition to studying for Calc and finishing the comp sci midterm... in other words this day was going to be a fun one. I went to my 10-11 class then wrote a pretty shitty paper for Western Civ... I would just like to point out that I think it is hilarious that Microsoft Word has shitty in its dictionary of words... so I can say shitty shitty shitty shitty shitty shitty shitty shitty and only get an underline b/c of a repeating word... anyway so after the shitty paper, I ate lunch, went to lab, and then directly to dinner... then to studying for calc with Mo. we were supposed to be finished at 9:00 so I could go work with Heather on the midterm that she had finished with some help from one of the guys in the class who understands the stuff...  anyway I got there at 9:40 and finished up the midterm. she had a party in her room that night so I stuck around for that even though I had a 8:30 midterm in calc III the next morning... I figured a few beers before an exam turned out to work earlier in the month. so maybe a few beers before a midterm would work out also. so Heather, Eric, Susan, and 2 people whos names I forgot but that I would have remembered had I tpyed this up on Fri, started to play Hearts. For the first time in as long as I can remember I actually won the game. This was accomplished by not getting that damn queen at all and by using a mixture of skill and luck... lets just say that #2 is definitely the factor. Anyway after that everyone left to go get Pizza except for Susan Heather and me. I was trying to explain FLCL to Susan which of course is impossible for anyone to understand, especially when it is the final episode for those of you who dont know what FLCL is, it is the most insanely fast paced complicated anime I have ever seen. I have seen all of the episodes twice and yet i still don't completely understand everything in it... anyway so after everyone got back we started watching Indiana Jones and the last crusade, which is of course the best of all the indy movies. At the same time we also started to play a board game which I forgot the name of, so for the sake of this writing I am going to call it Whabachk7uk. (just as a side note the 7 is silent) anyway Whabachk7uk was a game which you drew cards kept them to yourself and then rolled a die and depending on what you rolled you have to explain what is on your card. I got lucky and had pretty easy cards so I also won this game , but this was also probably b/c I only had 4 beers... b/c my intention was not to get drunk the night before a midterm... anyway Fri I got up at 7 showered drank a Mt.Dew(raiders cap) and then went to take my calc III midterm... I actually think I did pretty well on this one there was one answer which I am al little sketchy on but other then that it is all good. Other then that I handed in my paper for western Civ. Then I got my fat paycheck from the school for my work in the labs/ observatory. Ate lunch with Susan, Chris, and Rocco then went to a lecture on the enigma machine and found out that it was possible for it to have 10,586,000,000,000,000 different code encryptions. Then I turned in my midterm in comp sci and called it a day. The only other thing I had to do was go to the basketball game. So for dinner I made another Sko creation which I blatantly ripped off of CLUCK U. go to Nathens(gasp) and buy a  chicken tender sandwich. Then take one of the little cups(the ones you make jello shots in(wink)) and fill the cup with WING sauce from the pumps. Then drench the sandwich in it and drink with a Mt.Dew(raiders cap) sweet that means I win a panther hat b/c I matched the caps today anyway try that sandwhich it is hellah good. Now back to the game. the 6^th man group got there about an hour before the game but once it started they were really quiet. When we were doing the 2 things we asked them if they could help us out with they blatantly sat there... so in other words fuck them... if you want to start a club you gotta realize that bands have a list of rules that the NCAA makes us abide by, there are things we can and cant do... if they dont shape up in the next week or so expect to hear more about them in the rants... anyway Saturday I set my alarm for 10 so I could go to my grandmothers house to take care of some stuff for her before winter came around. of course I woke up at 10:30 for a 10:56 train... and I hadn't packed yet... and I ran... I ran so far away... I just ran, I ran all night and got there...so basically I had to do things like covering up the umbrella and bringing in her patio chairs stuff like that. Anyway I didnt get to see either of the 2 movies I hoped to see this weekend... I want to see Kill Bill and I want to see the Matrix(whatever the fuck this one is called) I honestly cant remember... just to be sure I get it the new matrix movie will also now be called The Matrix Whabachk7uk (this time the 7 is not silent). Anyway the rest of my weekend was pretty boring, so I wont bore all of you with it... heh bore is a funny word and I just now realized it. Boar is not quite as funny as bore... but a boring boar must be one of the funniest things ever... no wait it isnt even remotely funny... WTF was I thinking

P.S. the next time I use the word wink in a rant someone needs to kick my ass... or in Roccos case kill me in my sleep either one will do
